Barb Shadow is a paranormal investigator and researcher, living with her family on the East Coast. She was born and raised in a small town in upstate New York. She earned her BA in Writing Arts but put aside her writing to raise her family.
After many years of paranormal experiences, she co-founded the Sullivan Paranormal Society, an investigative team in Sullivan County, New York and, after a challenge to compete in the 2016 NaNoWriMo, she rediscovered her natural love of writing.
Combining this with her passion for the paranormal, A Step Into Darkness was penned. The second novel in the series, Shifting to Black, was released in October 2018. Invitation to Darkness, book three, was released July 27, 2020. Stay tuned for more in her From the Darkness series. Barb also wrote a collection of poetry entitled Among the Dying Violets. Released in the spring of 2021, it encompasses the themes of death, loss and finding love again.
